Gin rummy is the classic two-player rummy game. You each get ten cards. On your turn you draw one card, from the stock or the discard pile, and throw one away, trying to build melds: three or four cards of the same rank, or three or more cards in a row in one suit. Cards that don't fit a meld are deadwood. When your deadwood adds up to 10 or less you can knock and end the hand; with no deadwood at all you go gin for a 25-point bonus.

Here you play the computer at easy, medium or hard. A live counter shows your deadwood, your melds are grouped for you, and a free coach checks every draw, discard and knock against all the cards you haven't seen. Pick Standard or Oklahoma rules and Classic or Hollywood scoring.

Every deal is sealed before the cards are dealt. When the hand ends the seal opens and you can check in your browser that the shuffle was fixed in advance.
