A daily dice puzzle you can finish with your coffee
Snug Nine is a short puzzle made for Snug Table. Each day brings nine dice, the same for every player. Place them on a 3x3 board so the rows, columns and diagonals make triples, runs and sums of ten. A game takes two or three minutes.
When the board is full you see the best score today's dice allowed, and the coach points out the move that cost you the most, using only what you knew at the time. Missing a day never resets your count.
Today's dice come from a published formula based on the date, so nobody can pick dice for you. How the dice are made
