Privacy and terms

Snug Table is a set of free classic games. There are no accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies and no sale of data. This page lists everything we store and why.

Stored on your device

Your settings (language, look, speed), your game statistics against the computer and an unfinished match are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device. Clearing your browser data removes them. The games also work offline through a service worker that caches the game files.

Stored on our server when you play online (coming soon)

• The nickname and optional country flag you choose, and a random player ID created by your browser. We do not ask for your real name, email or password.
• Your rating and win/loss record, so the leaderboard works. Your nickname, country, rating and record are shown publicly on the leaderboard.
• Short emotes you send during a match are relayed to your opponent and not kept.

Counters and logs

When our game server is running, a starting game tells it so we can show a real "games played today" number. The counter keeps only the daily total. To stop one browser from counting twice in a minute, the server holds your IP address in memory for about two minutes and then forgets it. We do not keep our own access logs.

Hosting, and no other third parties

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes standard request data (IP address, page, browser) to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, under its own privacy policy. We do not use advertising networks, analytics services, social media trackers or third-party fonts.

Children

The games are suitable for all ages, but online play is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has created an online profile, contact us and we will remove it.

Your choices

You can play against the computer without sending anything to us. To remove your online nickname and rating, contact us with the nickname and the approximate date you last played.

Fair play and terms

The games are provided free and "as is". There is no gambling and no real money or prizes. Be kind in online games. We may remove nicknames that are offensive or impersonate someone, and we may block players who cheat or abuse the service.
