Play Yacht online, the five-dice game
Yacht is the dice game families know from the boxed games: roll five dice up to three times a turn, hold the ones you like, and write the result in one of the boxes on your scorecard, from ones to sixes, three and four of a kind, a full house, straights and the big one, five of a kind. Every box is used once; the highest total after all rounds wins.
Play the American rules (13 boxes, a 35-point upper bonus and +100 for extra Yachts) or Yatzy, the Scandinavian version with 15 boxes. Play solo to beat your best, take on one to three computer players, or try the daily game: the same dice for everyone today. The free coach works out every possible hold over all the rolls still to come and tells you when another choice was better on average. The dice are sealed before the game and checkable afterwards.
